Monoi de Tahiti oil is a traditional beauty oil which may only be referred to as beauty oil if the oil is gleaned from plants which grow on Tahiti (Tiare = Gardenia tahitensis). The Tiare plant has white, very fragrant and beautiful blossom which must be picked before dawn and then macerated with coconut oil. The oil provides moisture, nurtures and makes the skin soft and supple.
Muru Muru butter is obtained from the fruits of the Muru Muru palm tree which grows on Bali. Muru Muru butter contains oil acid, has a nurturing and soothing effect, protects against loss of moisture, forms a protective film and especially helps prevent dry skin. The skin is velvety and soft.
